Within the first few minutes that Sara and I had met Jasmine, we knew that we wanted her to be our photographer. We were already familiar with the level of Jasmine’s work via albums that were on display at the venue and the gallery on her website, but meeting her made everything fall into place.
Neither of us are particularly fond of being in front of a camera and so Jasmine’s confidence assisted with putting us both at ease from the start. We found that spending time with Jasmine before the wedding was invaluable, and by the time we met again on the big day she felt like an old friend.
Jasmine handled the day with aplomb, she adopted just the right level of authority with our guests in order to make sure that all of our pre-defined photo list was taken care of, with plenty of time left over for some lovely shots of Sara and myself together away from the crowd which we will always treasure.
If there was any negative outcome of hiring Jasmine, it would be that we found it incredibly difficult to choose the best photos for the album as they were all exquisitely taken, those that did not make the final album will almost certainly adorn our walls or fireplace for years to come.
