Little Baddow Family Photographer

I have been lucky enough to be a Little Baddow Family photographer for over a decade. Little Baddow is the village where I was born and raised so it holds a special place in my heart. To photograph families here, enjoying their childhood makes me so happy. This shoot was extra special as it was of my brother’s family and during the pandemic. It gave me the perfect opportunity to take some long over due personal family photographs. Hilary my sister in law is a photography lecturer. I felt very honoured to be invited to their Little Baddow home to photograph the family. She really knows what makes good photography.Their beautiful house in Little Baddow has been completely renovated and has so much natural light. It made a perfect backdrop for the shoot. The house boasts a luxurious kitchen diner with bifold doors. It is a real heart of the home. Whilst the family baked some cakes I captured them naturally and relaxed just enjoying life and each others company.Baby William was born in a lockdown so it was important for the family to get some “baby” photographs of him. I arrived when the kids where in their Pj’s and photographed his sister’s looking after him in his bedroom. Next I  snapped him having a bath. The photo of him and his cute little bum by the side of the bath is my absolute favourite (thanks Hilary for letting me share it!) The family now have it printed and framed in the downstairs toilet. A perfect spot  for a perfect baby photograph.
